The Adelaide Hunter Hoodless Homestead is a restored early nineteenth century Neo-Gothic style farmhouse. It was built in 1830 by John Bray and purchased by Adelaide's father, David Hunter, in 1851. Adelaide was born and lived here until she was married. The house was purchased by the Federated Women's Institutes of Canada in 1959 and restored as a historic site museum.
